Turning Awareness into Climate Action
Asociación Green Eurosanse is a non-profit association officially established in 2025 in Alcobendas, Spain. Its creation was the natural evolution of several years of activity carried out by a committed group of local volunteers who shared the common goal of protecting the environment and promoting sustainability within their community.
Before becoming a registered association, this volunteer group organized clean-up campaigns, tree planting activities, recycling awareness drives, and educational workshops, building a strong foundation of civic engagement and environmental responsibility.
Recognizing the need for a more structured and sustainable framework to expand their work and develop lasting partnerships, the group decided to formalize their efforts by founding the association.
The association’s mission is to promote environmental sustainability by raising awareness, fostering education, and empowering communities to actively participate in ecological protection and climate action. Green Eurosanse seeks to address both local and global environmental challenges by encouraging individual responsibility, promoting sustainable practices, and facilitating collaboration among citizens, institutions, and organizations.
Our vision is to contribute to a society where sustainability is fully integrated into daily life and policy, where environmental stewardship is seen as a shared duty, and where future generations inherit healthier ecosystems and resilient communities. The association envisions Alcobendas and its surroundings as a model of local action with global impact—an example of how grassroots initiatives can inspire broader change.
